• 19 State Trails
• 5,593,000 total acres owned by the Mn DNR.
•  A total of 5,717 campgrounds (public & private), with about 50 campgrounds in State Parks & Forests.

Did you know that?

1. Minnesota is home to over 1.2 million acres of habitat, from prairies and wetlands to forests and swamps.
2. There are about 1,000 resorts, and 500 lodges in the state, and there are a little over 100 Bed & Breakfasts in the State.
3. There are over 2,000 Hotel, Motels, Resorts, & Lodges in Minnesota
4. $1.3 Billion Dollars was spent in 2001 on Outdoor Activities
5. Ft. Snelling State Park, located near the MPLS airport, is the most visited state park
