Wisconsin -
  • Wisconsin Dells, WisconsinThis historic town is located in south-central Wisconsin on Interstate 90/94 about 56 miles from Madison, WI.  In addition to its historic downtown district, Wisconsin Dells boasts the largest water park in the world as well as amusement rides and other tourist amenities.
  • Clam Lake Narrows, One of the most scenic hideaways in the north central part of this state, has the most elk than anywhere else in Wisconsin.  In addition to great fishing, boating, and golf, the area is known for its snowmobiling, and fine lodging facilities.  Located approx 276 miles north of Madison, WI.
  • Daybreak on Lake Superior- fishing, both commercial and private Charter, has always been popular on this, the largest inland body of water in the world.  Charter fishing vessels can be arranged at Superior, Wisconsin.
  • Apostle Islands- This National Park is one of the most popular canoeing destinations in the area.  In addition to spectacular rock formations, sea caves, shipwrecks, an aviary make this unique place near Bayfield a truly breath-taking experience.
  • Waterfront Scene, Green Bay- Located on Lake Michigan, this town sports one of the most popular football teams in the country as well as a reputation for brats, beer, and cheese.  Fishing, Boating, and bicycling are also popular.  Famous for its National Railway Museum and its Botanical Gardens.

Michigan -
  • Michigan Island Lighthouse, located on the western shore of Lake Superior, is part of the Apostle Island National Lakeshore. Built in 1857 it is no longer active. Since this whole area is replete with nearly 100 lighthouses, we encourage you to visit the National Park Services Registry of Historic Lighthouses.
  • AuSable Lightstatue, Pictured Rocks National Park, located outside of Grand Marais, Michigan was built in 1874 and it one of the oldest Light houses on the "North Shore." Perched on the northern tip of Michigan, approx 343 miles from Lansing, and 110 miles from Sault Ste Marie this historic landmark offers a glimpse of early mercantile trade on the Great Lakes.
  • Mackinac Island- located on a tiny peninsula between Lake Superior and Lake Huron, on short highway M-185, is Michigan's first State Park and is known for its rock formations. Excellent for hiking, walking, and biking.
  • Old Quincy Mine, in Hancock, MI near the Keweenaw National Park, Keweenaw Pennisula (Upper Pennisula), located 211 miles from Green Bay,WI, or 213 miles from Duluth, MN or 150 miles from Pictured Rocks National Park, MI. One of the oldest and largest copper mines in the upper northwest was once part of a larger copper mining complex which encompassed Copper City, Dollar City, and Silver City. Spectacular restoration of the mining facilities adds a depth of understanding to our nation's mining history.
  • Fisherman's Island State Park, located 50 miles north along the lakeshore from Traverse City, is an all around recreational spot with camping, hiking, fishing, boating, bird watching, hiking, biking, hunting, swimming pool, picnic area, and sand dunes. The view from the beach offers breath-taking Great Lakes panoramas at sunset.
