Recent Weather Phenomena- Folks at the National Weather Center report that for the future our weather will be marked by increased unpredictability especially in terms of precipitation throughout the United States. Normal rainfall and snowfall for the U.S. will be disrupted occurring more as flash floods and freak snowstorms; and the south and the west may see more droughts throughout the summer months. The eastern United States in all likelihood will see hotter summers and more hurricanes and gale force winds. Lastly, due to the disruption of the Polar Jet Stream, strong winds may be experienced in isolated places throughout the country.
